Wroclaw doesn’t waste

Wroclaw has launched its Zero waste campaign – „Wroclaw doesn’t waste”. Within this framework, a cooking event based on food waste is organised on

The food leftovers return on the table and will surprise you with their metamorphosis.

During this event, the unobvious ingredients usually thrown away as rubbish will be cooked for our guests by MasterChef Mateusz Zielonka. There will also be an opportunity to sew your own shopping bags, learn about the advantages of tap water, check what products can be found in social refrigerators and on the “Wroclaw doesn’t waste” map. These are just some of the attractions of the Food Waste Festival, one of the elements of the “Wroclaw doesn’t waste” campaign.

The authors of the Food Waste Festival – Sylwia Majcher and Katarzyna Górna Drzewosz as well as the Sustainable Development Department, announce that it would be an inspiring evening, full of tasty surprises.

Representatives of the Food Bank will tell you why we throw out food and advise how to fight it, scientists will prove that peelings and leaves have a great potential, and local food producers will show how to choose the best of it.

We encourage you to look at the roof of Renoma and look down on the problem of wasting food.
