This activity as the goal to create awareness to all beach users, schools, community and guests about the sea pollution and encourage people to reduce, reuse and recycle waste.

This activity will begin with an awareness action about sea pollution and the effects on the marine biodiversity. This action will take place at our bathing complex involving all the activity participants and community. After the awareness action the participants will be divided into three groups – one on earth to clean the area of Ponta D’Oliveira and two groups into the sea – one diving with our diving partner (cleaning the bottom of the sea) and the other on boards to clean floating waste. In this activity will also participate a group of children from local School, hotel employees and guests. 

Esta actividade tem como objectivo sensibilizar os utilizadores da praia, escolas, comunidade e hóspedes sobre a poluição marinha e incentivar as pessoas a reduzir, reutilizar e reciclar os resíduos.

A actividade terá início com uma acção de sensibilização sobre a poluição marinha e os efeitos na biodiversidade marinha. Esta acção será realizada no complexo Balnear Lido Galomar envolvendo os participantes da acção bem como a comunidade. Após a acção os participantes serão divididos em três grupos – um em terra limpando o lixo da zona da Ponta D’Oliveira e dois no mar – um de mergulho, com o nosso parceiro de mergulho e clientes (fundo do mar) e outro em prancha (retirando lixo que esteja à superfície). Na actividade participarão alunos da Escola EB 2,3 do Caniço, colaboradores do hotel e hóspedes.
