The exhibition Human Nature invites the visitor to follow some if the threads in our tangled world. We ask poignant questions while at the same time reminding visitors that we all can contribute to change.

Based on current scientific research as well as unique collections and objects from around the world, the exhibition strives to contribute with knowledge and perspective related to the situation of today, and perhaps even inspire to a more sustainable way of life in the future.

Human Nature will be on display at the Museum of World Culture in Gothenburg from the 8th of February 2019 until May 2020. 

The World Culture Museum is open everyday except for Mondays. Free entrance to all our exhibitions. 

The World Culture Museum in Gothenburg is part of the National Museums of World Culture in Sweden which administrates nearly 500,000 objects from all over the world.

Signalerna är tydliga - klimatet förändras och arter dör ut. Människors överdrivna konsumtion är ett av problemen, men runt om i världen finns också starka krafter för förändring. Och det finns andra relationer till jorden än enbart som resurs för mänskliga behov.

I utställningen Human Nature bjuds du in att följa några av trådarna i vår hoptrasslade värld. Här ställs frågor och besökaren görs medveten om att alla kan bidra till en förändring.

Utställningen väjer inte för de enorma problem vi står inför. Masskonsumtionen har skapat en värld som hotar livsviktiga och känsliga system.
