The main feature of the awareness campaign is an Instagram contest that invites high school students to create online content. They are challenged to research the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, decide which is the most important for them and how to involve themselves in reaching them. The message is provocative, asking students to think about how they would be better than adults in effectively tackling the Goals: “Us or the adults? Today or… another day? 2030 starts right now!”

The content created by students and posted on Instagram gets to be voted live, in a street event taking place on 4 June 2019, in University Square, one of Bucharest’s most-visited touristic hot-spots. The event will include a concert.

During 3 -4 June, in the same location, a wide array of attractive public displays will inform people passing-by about the Goals, how they impact citizens and nations and how can any of us contribute to their fulfillment.

Ei sunt invitați să se documenteze privind cele 17 Obiective de dezvoltare durabilă, să decidă care este cel mai important pentru ei și cum se pot implica în atingerea lor. Mesajul este provocator, cerându-le să se gândească cum pot fi mai buni decât adulții în abordarea eficientă a obiectivelor: "Noi sau adulții? Azi sau mâine? 2030 începe acum!"

Conținutul postat pe Instagram va fi votat live pe 4 iunie 2019,, într-un eveniment de stradă în Piața Universității, unul dintre cele mai populare locuri din București. Evenimentul se va încheia cu un concert Smiley.

În perioada 3-4 iunie, în aceeași loc, o instalație foto de mari dimensiuni amplasată în zona statuilor la Piața Universității va informa trecătorii despre cele 17 obiective, modul în care acestea afectează cetățenii și națiunile și cum putem contribui la îndeplinirea lor.
