In the light of the European Sustainable Development Week (30 May – 5 June) MSM will organize a Debate Night. The topic of the debate is: The global climate change is a result of human activities.

Two teams of MSM students will debate either against or for the topic. To prepare the students for the Debate they received a detailed training in debating skills. The Debate Night will be hosted by Mr. Oliver Olson. A judging panel will evaluate the debate and choose a winner. Each judge will evaluate both teams according to the following criteria: Organization and clarity, Use of argument, Use of cross-examination and rebuttal and

Presentation style.

Vanwege de European Sustainable Development Week (30 mei - 5 juni) organiseert Maastricht School ofManagement (MSM) een debat. Het onderwerp van het debat is: The global climate change is a result of human activities.

Twee teams van MSM studenten zullen voor of tegen de stelling debatteren. Om de studenten voor te bereiden op het debat hebben ze een gedetailleerde training in debateervaardigheden ontvangen. Het debat wordt gehost door Oliver Olson. Een  jury zal het debat evalueren en uiteindelijk een winnaar kiezen. De jury zal de studenten en de teams beoordelen op:
- Organisatie en duidelijkheid
- Gebruik van argumenten
- Gebruik van cross-examination en weerlegging

- Presentatiestijl
