Knowledge on water for water

Education on the topic of public water supply and drainage with emphasis on the need for rational and sustainable use of water resources.

On the occasion of the European Sustainable Development Week, “Public utility company Vodovod i kanalizacija Ltd.” and its Slovenian partner “Water agency” are organizing an informational and educational event “Knowledge of water for water”, which will be held on Thursday 23 May 2019 on Rijeka’s promenade – Korzo. The program is intended for school children and the general public. Along with interesting lectures and presentations on the protection and active conservation of water and aquatic ecosystems, the public will gain insight into how water supply and drainage systems work and find out how much water does the average person use at home per day and how to achieve savings. A specialized vehicle equipped with technical components of water supply and sewerage (water station) will help us with this task. Program includes interesting experiments and the art corner where participants will create „Water agent“ badges.

U tome će nam pomoći vodna postaja -specijalizirano vozilo opremljeno tehničkim komponentama sustava vodovoda i kanalizacije. Uz zanimljive pokuse program uključuje i umjetničko-kreativni kutak u kojem će polaznici izrađivati značke Vodni agent.
