Activity will take place on the plantation of sweet chestnut in the forest near city of Petrinja on the the 8th of June form 10:00 to 12:00. Activity is related with the aim 15.
EDIC Petrinja will mark the European Week of Sustainable Development and will pursue its activities with the aim of bringing the 15th Global Goal of Sustainable Development to the public. For this reason, on 8 June 2018, starting at 10:00 pm, we will organize: Field visit to the example of good practice in the field of forest protection: “Visit to the plantations of sweet chestnut owned by the Center for Plum and Chestnut in the area of Gornja Bačuga”. On this occasion dipl.ing.agr. Ante Marić and President of the Association of Path of Chestnut Đuro Juić will hold short presentations on topics related to sustainable forest management, about wild fruit trees as cultures of key importance for the sustainability of the forest community and present the projects they are implementing. Also, besides visiting the plantations of sweet chestnut, the plan is to visit the viewpoint located in the area of Gornja Bačuga as a part of the thematic path “Path of Chestnut”
EDIC Petrinja će obilježiti Europski tjedan održivog razvoja, te će svojim aktivnostima nastojati približiti cilj 15. Globalnih ciljeva održivog razvoja široj javnosti. Iz tog razloga dana 8.6.2018 godine s početkom u 10:00 sati organizirat ćemo: Terenski posjet primjeru dobre prakse u području zaštite šuma: "Posjet nasadima pitomog kestena u vlasništvu Centra za šljivu i kesten na području Gornje Bačuge". Tom prigodom će dipl.ing.agr. Ante Marić i predsjednik udruge Pute Kestena Đuro Juić održati kratke prezentacije na teme povezane sa održivim gospodarenjem šumom, o voćkaricama kao kulturama od ključne važnosti za održivost šumske zajednice te predstaviti projekte koje provode. Također osim posjetu nasadima pitomog kestena, plan je posjetiti i vidikovac koji se nalazi na području Gornje Bačuge u sklopu tematskog puta "Put kestena"
