An exploration of the potential benefits resulting from the implementation of rootop gardens in compact cities such as Barcelona, especially in regard to social inclusion.

The aim of the event is to explore the benefits of rootop gardens as nature-based solutions in compact cities such as Barcelona, especially in regard to social inclusion. It will include a guided tour in the rootop garden located in the Institute for People with Disabilities of the Barcelona City Council. The event is part of a larger stakeholder process started in 2017 under the framework of the European research projects NATURVATION  (www.naturvation.eu) and ENABLE (www.projectenable.eu).
