ECOnstructive activities in the town for the World Environment Day and the European Sustainable Development Week

The University of Western Macedonia and in particular the Department of Chemical Engineering (Department of Environmental Engineering) of the Faculty of Engineering is celebrating the World Environmental Day and the European Sustainable Development Week – ESDW 2019. In this framework 44 students of the 2nd year within the “Ecology” course promote in the city center of Kozani in Greece the Sustainable Development Goals focusing especially on the SDGs 3, 4, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 15. Under the general title “ECOnstructive activities in the town for the World Environment Day and the European Sustainable Development Week”, these 44 students are distributed in 10 groups and each group present a separate project aiming at informing and disseminating the scientific knowledge, rendering it in experiential manner through small applications and demonstrations. These 10 projects except for their focus on the Sustainable Development Goals are also renewed every year inspired from the scientific field of Ecology and the Environment in general. These activities are addressed to all ages and will be take place at the central square of Kozani (Niki Square) on Wednesday, 5 June 2019, at 6-9:30pm.
