In Catalonia there are several initiatives related to 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development that are taking place during the ESDW:
- The Nature Week (Setmana de la Natura) is a time of the year to become more aware of the need to take care of nature and conserve our natural heritage! View the many events that will be taking place throughout Catalonia during the 9 days from June 1st - June 9th at the sea or in the mountains, in villages and in cities. All of them are dedicated to exploring and discovering nature, becoming familiar with environmental threats, and learning about sustainable initiatives. The nature week is an initiative promoted by a Catalan environmental NGO, with the participation of administrations, companies, schools and other organizations.
- Barcelona’s Sustainability Week (Setmana de la Sostenibilitat): Coinciding with World Environment Day, the City Council is organising another edition of its Sustainability Week from 30 May to 5 June.
