
László BORBÉLY contributed significantly to the democratic development of the Romanian society in the fields of international affairs, sustainable development, environment, regional development and infrastructure, through various high-ranking functions held in the Romanian Parliament and the Romanian Government. Before serving as state counselor in the team of the Prime Minister of Romania (2017), coordinating the Department for Sustainable Development, László BORBÉLY held the positions of Minister of Environment and Forests, Minister of Development, Public Works and Housing, Minister Delegate at the Ministry of Transport, as well as Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee at the Romanian Chamber of Deputies in the Parliament of Romania.
