THE 36TH TALLINN OLD TOWN DAYS

This year, 31 May to 4 June 2017, Tallinn Old Town Days take place for the 36th time and bears a slogan “Young Old Town”

Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Estonia has appointed the year 2017 as the Year of Children’s and Youth Culture. That because we want to increase the focus of young, vivid, future-oriented, innovative and fresh ideas. As always, each day has its specific theme.31th May – Tallinn Old Town Days opening1st June – If all the world’s power belong to childrenThere will be conversations with young people, circus, games and dancing2nd June – Take a little time to look aroundInnovative solutions, fantasy projects, thoughts about the future.3rd June – What is the color of loveLove songs, poetry and memoirs. Romance everywhere.4th June – Retro, thinking about the past.Of course, the Old Town will be filled with music, theatre shows and a vast museums programme, exhibitions, guided tours and art projects. There will be folk as well as pop and jazz music.Programme booklets will be available a week before the festival at information hall of Tallinn City Government, Tallinn Tourist Information Centre and Tallinn City Centre Administration. Welcome to the Young Old Town!



31. maist kuni 4. juunini 2017 toimuvad 36. vanalinna päevad, mille juhtmõte on „Noor vanalinn“.2017. aasta on kultuuriministeerium nimetanud laste- ja noortekultuuri aastaks. Selles ajendatuna soovime Tallinna vanalinna päevadel fookusesse tõsta noore, erksa, tulevikku suunatud, innovaatilise ja värske mõtte.
