Turpinās pieteikšanās Eiropas Ilgtspējīgas attīstības nedēļai
No š.g. 18.septembra līdz 8.oktobrim Latvijā un visā Eiropā norisināsies Eiropas Ilgtspējīgas attīstības nedēļa, kas aicina iestādes, organizācijas un privātpersonas pieteikt to īstenotas aktivitātes vai pasākumus, kas vērsti uz ilgtspējīgu attīstību un Apvienoto Nāciju Organizācijas izvirzīto Ilgtspējīgas attīstības mērķu sasniegšanu.
Eiropas Ilgtspējīgas attīstības nedēļas (European Sustainable Development Week – ESDW) tematika ir saistīta ar 2015. gadā apstiprināto globālo ilgtspējīgas attīstības Dienaskārtību līdz 2030. gadam (Agenda 2030) un tajā ietvertajiem 17 Ilgtspējīgas attīstības mērķiem (Sustainable Development Goals jeb SDGs). Dienaskārtība 2030 identificē galvenos ilgtspējas izaicinājumus, ar ko pasaule šobrīd saskaras vides, sociālā un ekonomiskā dimensijā un kas prasa tūlītēju rīcību no visām iesaistītajām pusēm visos lēmumu pieņemšanas un izpildes līmeņos. Līdz ar to tematiskās kategorijas ESDW pieteikumiem ir ANO Ilgtspējīgas attīstības mērķi.
Projektus un idejas, kuru publicitātes pasākumi tiks īstenoti laika posmā no 18.septembra līdz 8.oktobrim, var pieteikt ESDW tīmekļa vietnē: https://esdw.eu/ . Dalība ESDW2023 ir iespēja popularizēt ilgtspējas iniciatīvas, paust organizācijas sociālo atbildību un vērtības caur reāliem piemēriem, kā arī sniegt pienesumu Ilgtspējīgas attīstības mērķu sasniegšanā, vienlaikus ļaujot iepazīties ar citām tematiskām aktivitātēm visā Eiropā un iegūstot starptautiskus kontaktus turpmākai sadarbībai. Visa informācija par ESDW ietvaros organizētajiem pasākumiem pēc to apstiprināšanas tiek ievietota un ir pieejama ESDW tīmekļa vietnē.
Pirmā starptautiskā ESDW norisinājās 2015. gadā, veiksmīgi aizvadot vairāk kā 4100 uz ilgtspējīgu attīstību vērstus pasākumus kopumā 29 Eiropas valstīs, t.sk. septiņus pasākumus Latvijā. ESDW mērķis ir popularizēt ilgtspējīgu attīstību veicinošas aktivitātes un projektus, kalpojot par virtuālās tīklošanās platformu Eiropas mērogā. ESDW organizē Vīnes Ekonomikas un biznesa universitātes Ilgtspējīgas vadības institūts Eiropas ilgtspējīgas attīstības tīkla (ESDN) darbības ietvaros sadarbībā ar ESDWdalībvalstu kontaktpunktiem. Latvijā ESDW kontaktpunkta funkcijas veic Valsts kanceleja (VK).
