Ireland’s second Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Week is taking place this year from 23 September - 1 October. It forms part of the wider European Sustainable Development Week (ESDW), which runs from 18 September - 8 October 2023. Last year ESDW saw over 7,000 activities taking place across 24 countries, with over 100 events taking place in Ireland. Check out the downloadable flyer below.


University of Galway SDG Week 2023

SDG week belongs to everyone and is open to all, including students, staff and community partners. It is part of the wider European Sustainable Development Week (ESDW), which this year, will be held from 18th September to 8th October. As national SDG Champion for Ireland we see this as an opportunity to act as an advocate and promoter of the SDGs, to raise awareness internally among our community of over 20,000 students and staff and to demonstrate by example that everyone can make a contribution to the UN SDGs.
